This is a plan for a lesson about the birth of Jesus, with a focus on the journey to Bethlehem. It is suitable for using with Key Stage 2.

This is an assembly for Mother’s Day, with a focus on a Bible quote. There is a 4 page pdf plan and a 20 slide animated PowerPoint (non-editable- click ‘Read Only’ to open). In this assembly, children are encouraged to think about what they learn from their parents. The plan is easy to follow and requires no resources, so is perfect for using at the last minute! I like leading assemblies that are interactive, engaging and relevant to the children’s lives. So this assembly involves discussions and a long anecdote on some childhood incidents where the assembly leader did not follow their parents’ rules.
